This past week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Style Hour presentation of the GARCIAVELEZ collection and it did not disappoint. I have been to my fair share of fashion shows in the past, both local and mainstream designers – but I am ashamed to admit that up until Tuesday, I had never attended a Menswear show! This was an exciting night for me, a new world of fashion not yet explored – plus it doesn’t hurt having some handsome models to look at all evening.
Carlos Garcia-Velez is a menswear brand based in New York City and draws his inspiration from his architectural background. Inspired by the mix of Nomad Life and City Lines – his collection is a perfect mixture of casual cool with city chic. From sleek jackets to finely fitted sweaters, this collection is sure-fire solution to amp up any man in your lives wardrobe. Added bonus, all models were donned in the latest fashion watches from Bernie Robbins Jewelers – seriously is there anything better than a well dressed man with a great timepiece on?
Located at the GORGEOUS residences of the AKA Washington Square West – I was feeling very 70’s Art Deco inspired with my outfit.
